Idah madonna multi kingsize cushion 60x90 cm

King-size bedspread in a colourful pattern of orange flowers. It is called Madonna as it resembles a tulip of the same name. Tulips originated in the Netherlands, as did wax print textiles, so the name Madonna makes extra sense.

The cushion has extra support and is super comfortable as a bedside cushion and in the deep lounge sofa.

Mumutane's aim is to create products with meaning. That's why the materials are carefully selected. The modern, African and colourful textiles that adorn the front of the cushions are bought from local traders in Africa. The back of the cushions are leftover textiles from Danish Kvadrat that give a good weight and texture to the cushion. Furthermore, it gives a good flexibility that you can turn and rotate the pillow as needed and create new, varying expressions in the sofa and home decor.

The cushions are produced in Denmark by a social economy company that aims to create work for people who need a better framework and support than the usual Danish labour market can provide.

The inner pillow is a mix of down, feathers and fibre and has a good comfort. It is also Oeko-tex certified and Danish produced.

There is a hidden zipper in the pillowcase that makes it easy to take off and wash. The washing recommendation is 30° hand wash.
